How do you know if your electrical system needs maintenance?

Dim headlights
If your lights are dimmer than usual, it could be a sign of an electrical problem. This usually indicates that the alternator is failing.
The engine won’t start
To start, your engine requires electricity from the spark plugs. If your engine is having difficulty doing so, it could be due to an electrical issue.
The lights/windows/radio is not working

Melting plastic smell
